Add a Manual Application

Introduction:

This guide will walk you through the process of adding a manual operation to your field in Harvest Profit. Whether you’re applying fertilizer, seed, or other inputs, this guide will help you record these operations effectively.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Applications Page:
    • Start by going to your Applications page in Harvest Profit.
  2. Add a New Operation:
    • Click on one of your fields to open its details.
    • In the bottom left-hand corner, click the Add Operation button from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select and Apply a Product:
    • Choose Seed (or another relevant product category).
    • Scroll down to find and select your Corn Seed.
    • Click Apply Product.
    • If needed, you can apply multiple products or add a new product along with its price.
  4. Input Operation Details:
    • Enter the population rate (e.g., 32,000 seeds per acre) or another relevant metric for your operation.
    • This will automatically generate the cost per acre based on the input details.
    • Label this operation (e.g., "Seeding").
  5. Optional: Add Additional Products:
    • If you're adding more products, such as fertilizer, select Fertilizer, the product, then input the rate per acre.
    • Click Apply Product to include it in the operation.
    • The cost per acre will be updated accordingly.
  6. Review Your Operations:
    • You can add as many manual operations as needed for your field.
    • Review all entered data to ensure accuracy.
