How are non-variable costs allocated?

Fertilizer, seed, and chemical are allocated based on the per field rates you have set on the Applications tab.

Other expenses are allocated evenly across the crops you select.

Here's an example.

• You raise corn(1,000 acres),soybeans(1,000 acres), and a specialty vegetable crop(700 acres)
• You enter an annual combine payment of $20,000
• You change the crop allocation from "All Crops" to "Corn" and "Soybeans"
• The software will simply assign $10/acre(allocated acres/cost) to each of your corn and soybean fields
