Adding Trucks for Grain Inventory

Introduction: This guide explains how to add trucks in Harvest Profit for grain inventory tracking. You can create a truck manually or import equipment from your Equipment Cost Analysis records.

  1. Navigate to the Trucks Page
    • Go to Inventory.
    • Select the Trucks tab.
  2. Start Adding a Truck
    • Click Add.
    • Choose one of the following options:
      • Add Truck to manually create a new truck record.
      • Add Truck from Equipment to import equipment from your Equipment Cost Analysis page.
  3. Enter Truck Information
    • Enter the Truck Name.
    • Enter the License Plate Number.
    • Enter the Tare Weight if desired (optional).
  4. Link Equipment (Optional)
    • If applicable, connect the truck to equipment from your Equipment Cost Analysis records.
    • You can import equipment into Equipment Cost Analysis from OffCenter before linking it to a truck.
  5. Save the Truck
    • Click Save to create the truck record.
Tip: If your trucks are already tracked in Equipment Cost Analysis, using Add Truck from Equipment can save time and reduce duplicate data entry.
Troubleshooting:
  1. If a truck is not available to import, verify it exists on the Equipment Cost Analysis page.
  2. If the truck does not save, confirm all required fields have been completed.
  3. If equipment imported from OffCenter is missing, verify the import was completed successfully in Equipment Cost Analysis.
