Dealer Portal

Introduction: The Harvest Profit Dealer Portal is where dealerships can manage customer users, create demonstrations, and control dealer user access. This guide walks through the main features: Resources, Users, Demonstrations, and Dealership.

Steps

  1. Access Resources
    • Click Resources in the top navigation.
    • This links directly to Harvest Profit Help Docs.
  2. Manage Customer Users
    • Click Users in the navigation bar to view all customer accounts tied to your dealership.
    • To add a new user:
      • Click + Add User (upper right).
      • Enter the user’s Name, Phone, and Email.
      • Select the Account Type:
        • 14-day Free Trial (default).
        • Paid Account or Demonstration Account.
      • Click Send Invite to email login instructions to the customer.
    • Troubleshooting: If a customer cannot log in, have them use Reset Password on the Harvest Profit login page. Contact Support if issues continue.
    • Use Return to All Users to go back to the list. You can filter by inactive users, active users (weekly/monthly), or search by name.
  3. Set Up Demonstrations
    • Click the Demonstrations tab to view and manage demo accounts.
    • To create a demo:
      • Click + Add Demonstration.
      • Enter a Name and click Create Demonstration.
    • To access an existing demo, click its name and then Enter Demonstration.
    • Click Edit to rename or update a demonstration.
  4. Manage Dealer Users
    • Go to the Dealership tab to add or manage dealer-level users.
    • Click + Add Dealer User and enter the required information.
    • Choose whether the user should have Admin Access:
      • With Admin: Can create new dealer users, change permissions, and add Harvest Profit users.
      • Without Admin: Can still log in to customer user accounts but cannot manage dealer users.
  5. Other Tools
    • Help Button: Contact Support directly or use AI Answers for quick guidance.
    • Change Password: Click your initials in the upper-right corner > Change Password.
    • Forgot Password? Use Reset Password on the Dealer Portal sign-in page.
