How to Split a Grain Load Ticket Across Contracts

Introduction: This tutorial will walk you through the process of splitting a grain load ticket across multiple contracts in the Settlements page.

Steps to Split a Grain Load Ticket

1. Open the Settlements Page
   • Go to the Inventory page in Harvest Profit.
   • Click the Settlements tab.
   • Select the contract you want to settle against.
2. Add Truckload Deliveries
   • Click + Add Truckload Deliveries.
   • Select the applicable truckloads by checking the box.
   • Click Add to include them in the settlement.
3. Edit the Ticket Amount
   • If you are only applying part of the load, click Edit Amounts.
   • Type the number of bushels or units to apply (e.g., 350).
   • Click Finish Editing to save the update.
4. Create the Settlement
   • Check the ticket box on the left-hand side.
   • Click New Settlement.
   • (Optional) Add a Settlement ID, then click Create Settlement.
5. Apply Remaining Bushels to Another Contract
   • Return to your list of contracts.
   • Select the next contract to settle.
   • Click + Add Truckload Deliveries.
   • You’ll see the same ticket with the remaining balance (e.g., 650 bushels).
   • Select and create a settlement against this second contract.
