Crop Planner Map Help Guide

Welcome to Harvest Profit! This guide will walk you through using the brand-new Crop Planner Map feature.

Accessing the Crop Planner Map

  1. Navigate to your Crop Planner page.
  2. Click on the Map tab.
  3. Here, you will see all the field boundaries that you have drawn in Harvest Profit or imported from John Deere Operations Center.

Setting Up Your Field with a Crop

  1. Click on a field.
  2. Select Set Planted Crop.
  3. Choose your desired crop.
  4. Repeat the Set Planted Crop process for additional fields.
  5. If no ownership is attached, click on the dropdown and select your entity or entity share.
  6. Your field setup is now complete.

Filtering Fields by Farm Name

  1. Click on the Farms dropdown.
  2. Select the farms you wish to display.

Customizing Icon Colors

  1. Click on the icon next to a crop (e.g., corn).
  2. Choose any color you prefer.

Updating Field Boundaries

There are two ways to update field boundaries in Harvest Profit: manually or by syncing from John Deere Operations Center.

Manual Boundary Update

  1. Go to the Field and Land Cost page.
  2. Navigate to the Boundaries tab.
  3. Locate the field without a boundary.
  4. Click on the field and zoom in on the map to locate it.
  5. Select Draw a Rectangle or Draw a Polygon to outline the field.
  6. Save your changes and return to the Crop Planner page to see the updated boundary.

Syncing from Operations Center

  1. If you’ve updated a boundary in John Deere Operations Center, go to the Field and Land Cost page.
  2. Click on the Boundaries tab.
  3. Select the field you want to update.
  4. Click Sync Boundary to import the latest field boundary from John Deere Operations Center.
  5. Verify that the updated boundary appears correctly in your Crop Planner Map.
